Police looking for bank robbery suspect

Police are currently looking for a suspect who robbed a bank on February 6.

According to the Lafayette Police Department, at around 10:35 a.m., a man wearing a mask entered a bank in the 800 block of West Pinhook Road.

The suspect approached a teller and demanded money. He then ran from the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police say that the suspect never pulled a weapon during the robbery. No injuries were reported.

Police describe the suspect as a black male approximately 5’6” tall, with a thin build and was wearing a tan shirt and blue jeans.
