Author and syndicated independent journalist John Maginnis's opinion of Jindal administration

LAFAYETTE, LA (KADN) — A hot topic on many people's mind right now is governor Jindal.  John Maginnis says he is making a big play right now trying to change the tax code of the state, which could be part of a bigger motive taking on big issues like education, pention, and health care for future success in politics.  Maginnis also named a possible potential for the next governor of Louisiana, and it's a name you will recognize.

"I tell you one name that's interesting and especially for Acadiana is Scott Angelle.  He hasn't said he's running, but a lot of people think he will.  The state hasn't had a cajun governor in a while, and I think the people of Acadiana miss that," says John Maginnis, political analyst.

Maginnis says if Angelle came out of Acadiana with a solid vote, he might be a hard one to beat when it comes time to elect a new governor.
