Potty mouth at fast food restaurant lands woman trip to parish jail, $500 bond

A 23-year-old woman was arrested after she allegedly yelled profanities at a fast food employee.

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that the incident happened on Wednesday, Sept. 11. Deputies responded to the fast food restaurant in Bayou Vista at roughly 10:37 p.m.

According to reports the suspect, Shanay Dominique Griffin of Patterson, yelled profanities at the employee from the drive-thru line. Officials did not say what prompted the verbal assault.

Griffin was arrested and charged with Disturbing the Peace (foul language). She was booked into the parish jail. Her bond was set at $500.
