Robbers attack man at bus station for cash; police seek suspect

On June 2, 2013, at approximately 11:50 p.m., Lafayette Police responded to a simple robbery incident at the bus station located in 100 block of Lee Avenue.

The victim advised he was waiting for transportation when he was approached by two black males. The suspects then attempted to steal the victim’s shoulder bag, at which time the victim threw money on the ground, distracting the suspects. The suspects took the money and fled the area.

The victim did not suffer any injuries during the incident.
