Southern Survival Sprint to test racers with tough challenge
BATON ROUGE, LA — Are you looking for an adventure? Or a tough challenge?
The first annual Southern Survival Sprint is less than a month away.
The off road race slated for May 4, 2013 is designed to test even the most experienced athletes. Organizer Hunter Shaffet says it will be the most challenging of all the 5K races this year with over three miles of natural, rugged and will-breaking obstacles that will push you to the max. Obstacles will vary from 300' hills, 30'-45' cliffs, tire crawls, hay bale jumps, fallen trees, pits, ropes, and more.
The race in Woodville, MS is only $35 if you register before the day of the event. You can register here http://www.southernsurvivalsprint.com. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Youth Oasis Charity.
Registration is $55 on the day of the event.
