Tarballs still washing up on shore a week after Isaac

Thursday, September 6, 2012 - 7:56pm

More than a week after Isaac made landfall tar balls are still washing up on parts of the Louisiana Coastline.
The LSU School Of Coast And Environmental Science says the tar balls that washed up on elmer's island and grand isle are from the BP spill.

The school was able to get several samples of the tar balls and once the tests were complete, they were able determine the oil in those tar balls is the exact same oil that came from the b-p well that blewout back in april of 2010 and they say we can expect to see more tar balls show up in future storms.
