Police say they plan to thoroughly search the campus in portions and say they will open up the campus the same way.
They have already opened up the dorms.
Today's call at LSU comes just days after bomb scares were called in to other three other colleges all of them spent part of Friday under evacuation orders.
The first came into the University of Texas at Austin.
Tens of thousands of students and faculty were evacuated there.
Then a threat was called into North Dakota State University at Fargo.
Later Friday evening a threat was called into the smaller Hiram College that is about 35 miles southeast of Cleveland in Ohio.
