UPDATE: 3rd suspect apprehended for credit union robbery

UPDATE: Police have apprehended the third suspect, Jamikal Phillips, 17. 

Phillips was found at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18 in a Lafayette hotel. 

Police made the arrest without incident and booked Phillips into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center. 


UPDATE: Detectives have arrested two suspects in connection with the recent robbery of a local credit union.

One suspect is still wanted.

Ronald Taylor, Jr., 17, and Roderick Cormier, 27, have been charged with Principal to Armed Robbery.

Allegedly, Cormier and Taylor participated in the bank robbery.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Jamikal Phillips, 17, for Armed Robbery. Phillips is featured in the above photo. 

Phillips allegedly entered the bank on Dec. 10 and robbed them at gunpoint.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Jamikal Phillips should call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
