Public Forum coming up early May
LAFAYETTE, LA (KADN) — There’s a chance for you to weigh in on what the city could look like twenty years from now. A public hearing is set for early May. This one will include a combination of opinions from past public forums. Mayor Durel said he’s excited about the plan moving forward.
“The first one was interesting, the second one was probably a little bit more boring for a lot of people, but this one is going to be where you’re going to start seeing results of the first two. People will be starting to be given tangible choices. Do they want scenario A, do they want scenario B, what the consequences are, what the results will be..and so I think it’s going to be very very exciting very much more interesting public forum than we’ve seen in the past,” says City-Parish President Joey Durel.
Durel says the more feedback government officials receive, the more accurate the vision of Lafayette will be for the residents.
