BOSSIER CITY/ SHREVEPORT, LA — Authorities have arrested a man accused of robbing a convenience store earlier this year.
Officials have charged Patrice Payton, 39, of Bossier City, with one count of first degree robbery. The Shreveport Police Department, along with US Marshal agents, arrested Payton in the 1800 block of Lois Lane in Bossier City.
Payton was wanted in connection with am August 23 robbery of the Circle K convenience store located in the 300 block of Southfield Road in Shreveport.
Evidence recovered at the scene of the crime was able to link Payton as the caper, prompting investigators to obtain a warrant for his arrest.
Payton was taken to the Bossier City Jail and then transferred to the Shreveport City Jail where he was booked in on the first degree robbery warrant, along with an unrelated warrant for simple criminal property damage. His bonds total $100,390.
