Always wear full-face motorcycle helmet with proper body attire, can save your life
LAFAYETTE, LA (KADN) — After a deadly motorcycle accident over the weekend, motorcyclists around the area are sending out the message to use every kind of safety precaution before getting on the road. This includes a full-face helmet, jacket, boots, gloves, and long pants.
"If you have the proper safety gear you can actually get into a motorcycle accident and get up and walk away from it. If you're not wearing the proper safety gear, you may have to go to the hospital, or you might get injured and have recovery time," says Bryan Bell, an avid motorcyclist and finance manager for Southside Honda.
Troopers are waiting for toxicology reports to come back, but it's expected that impairment was a factor in the death of 32 year old James Feazell, as he colleded with another motorcycle and was immediately ejected from his moving motorcycle.
