July 31, 2014 — The long awaited Whole Foods being built on the corner of Settlers Trace Boulevard and Ambassador Caffery officially has an opening date! The 36,200 square foot facility will open it's doors to the public September 24th according to Whole Foods officials.
The location anchors a large new shopping center that is in the heart of some of Lafayette's busiest road ways and continues the growth of the city on the South side. with such large location Whole Foods is looking for 150 new team member and applications are being taken now until August 12th.
Whole Foods manager John Veillon says what their store does to separate themselves from competitors is offering the best products that are made with natural ingredients.
"We have the largest selection of organics, foods that are free of artificial flavors, preservatives, colors. I like to think about as, we read the labels so our guests don't have to." said Veillon.
"We do great produce, fresh cooked food, pizzas, smokehouse, fresh meats, fresh seafood, the best of the best. Here it's all about a passion for food and celebration. You know that's all kind of in line with what whole foods does."
