Two NFC teams with great history face off at 3:35 p.m. CT this Sunday on FOX 15. The 12-4 San Francisco 49ers will be hosted at a very chilly Lambeau Field by the 8-7-1 Green Bay Packers.
The Packers are happy to have the services of Aaron Rodgers back after he missed several weeks with a broken collarbone. Meanwhile, the 49ers will continue to ride the rushing attack lead by running back Frank Gore and dual-threat QB Colin Kaepernick.
San Francisco is only 2-4 all time against Green Bay in the playoffs, but the 49ers are currently riding a three-game win streak against the Packers, including a 34-28 win earlier this season.
The 49ers finished with the second best record in the NFC, but lost their division to the top seed 13-3 Seattle Seahawks. Green Bay snuck into the playoffs winning the NFC North on the final game of the regular season, defeating the Bears 33-28.
Temperatures at kickoff are expected to be below zero with a chance of snow.
