The wonderful season rolls on for the UL baseball team as they won their 53rd game of the year and won the Bun Belt conference yesterday beating UT Arlington in Mobile, Alabama. The field of 64 teams for the NCAA baseball championship was announced nationally and before a large crowd of UL fans at Moore Field.

The second ranked UL Ragin Cajuns are the number 6 seed and will host Jackson State, Mississippi State and San Diego State in the regional that starts Friday in Lafayette.

The Ragin Cajun's earned that national seed for the first time ever in the school's history and the team is loving it and ready to play ball. The road to Omaha starts this Friday night at 6p vs. Jackson State in the regional at Moore Field and it will be a packed house.

Tickets for the regional are available now to UL baseball season ticket holders and RCAF members. If there are any tickets left after that then individual session tickets will go on sale at 10 am this Friday at the Cajundome.
