Louisiana Ragin' Cajun head Football Coach Mark Hudspeth say's he's fired up and he is ready!

In just two days, his Ragin' Cajun team will kick off the 2014 season at the newly enlarged Cajun Field. And a record breaking crowd is expected to see the Cajun's play the Southern Jaguars.

Already just off Congress Street, you can see the RV's starting to roll in and the tents and collapsible pavilions are already in place for the tailgaters. And after a month of pre-season practices, Coach Hud feels good about his players being ready to get things started this Saturday night.

"You know you are always just doubled checking everything to make sure everything is ready to go. We want to make sure that everybody is healthy, and make sure all the t's are crossed and all the i's are dotted in every phase." said Coach Hud.

"You just don't want anything to pop up and bite you on game day. With the stadium now looking like it's just about ready, the jumbo-tron ready. We hope now our football team will be ready cause we know the fans will be out and they will be ready Saturday."

Early tailgaters for the Cajun Football game can catch a UL vs. McNeese soccer game Friday night at 7pm next to the football field.

Meanwhile, tickets are moving fast for the Southern and UL Ragin' Cajun football game Saturday night at 6pm.

Tickets on sale at the Cajundome box office or call 1-800-745-3000.
