Coach pull off unlikely win against Troy Trojans

Tuesday, September 11, 2012 - 4:49pm

The Cajuns went on the road Saturday night and upset Sunbelt Conference opponent the Troy Trojans.
The stats were against coach Hud and his team because Troy won their last 25 home openers and because the Cajuns lost their last 21 opening road games.

In addition  the Cajuns had never won a game in Troy until Saturday.Even though starting quarterback Blaine Gautier was taken out of the game backup qb Terrance Broadway led the Cajuns to a big win with a score of 37 to 24.

Quarterback Blaine Gautier has bruised ribs but coaches hope he'll be able to play next Saturday as the Cajuns go on the road again to Stillwater, Oklahoma to face Oklahoma State. Kickoff is set for at 11:00.
