Lafayette, LA (KADN) — Due to Tyrann Mathieu's recent drug conviction, he almost certainly won't play football again for LSU. However, NFL analyst and former recruiter Chris Landry says there may be a chance for the famed Honey Badger to play professionally: "Maybe he can get a chance to get drafted late."
That was Landry's professional assessment, but his gut feeling is far more pessimistic. He believes that "the loss will be devastating because we don't know what opportunities [there] will be. You will get a second and third opportunity, but will he be drafted right now? I dont think so."
As of this time, LSU has not commented on Mathieu's charges.
