Southern Jaguars Headcoach "sacked"

Friday, September 14, 2012 - 10:49pm

Les than 24 hours after a historic loss in their home opener the Southern Jaguars are parting ways with head coach Stump Mitchell.
The Southern Athletic Department announced Stump Mitchell was dissmissed from his head coaching duties.
Mitchell earned just 6 six wins in his first two seasons at the helm.
The Jags 0-2 start this year was enough to warrant an immediate change two games into the season.
Defensive coordinator Dawson Odums will take over as the Interim Head Coach.
Broussard said a search for a permanent head coach wont officially begin until the completion of the 2012 season.
