Every spring, professional golfers come to Acadiana to tee up for the Louisiana Open golf tournment at Le Triomphe golf club.
Every year, the winning golfer walks away with a big pile of cash but there is not just one winner.

 50 different local and regional charities and youth groups walk away with checks.money that makes a big difference for groups trying to make a big difference in the community.

The event has been around for 2 decades contributing more than 4 million dollars to area charities.
Next year's open is scheduled just before Easter on March 14 thru the 17th.
