Cajuns take on the University of Kentucky Wildcats in their first World Series game since 2008

It's been a long and fun journey so far for the UL Ragin Cajun softball team. A team that was not expected to go very far this year having lost many front line players and only having two seniors on the team, but don't tell that to this group of ladies as now after winning the regualr season and Sun Belt conference tournament.

Then beating Texas in the regional and last week winning the super regional over Arizona. It's been an emotional grinding and successful last couple of weeks, and the Ragin Cajun's now think they can win it all in the NCAA College Softball World Series starting tomorrow night.

The Cajun girls arrived in Oklahoma City last night and had a chance to practice for a couple of hours today. Now it's time to play ball as the Ragin Cajuns will face the Kentucky Wildcats at 6pm in a game that will telecast on ESPN 2. It's the NCAA Women's Softball World Series and all of us here at KADN Fox 15 wish the Cajun team much success in the tournament!
