Guillen asks son to resign from ChiSox; GM speaks out

Saturday, March 20, 2010 - 2:36pm

White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen said Saturday that he asked his son
Oney to resign from his position with the team’s video
department after Oney, 24, made a series of questionable statements
on his Twitter account.

Guillen, who had declined to speak with reporters about the
matter the previous day, said he had no problem with White Sox
general manager Ken Williams.

Williams, speaking to FOXSports.com, sounded more frustrated
with the explosion of social media than his latest spat with
Guillen.
