The LSU Tiger basketball team made a big move towards earning a spot in the postseason today.

The Tigers opened up the SEC Tournament with a 70 to 54 victory over Arkansas in the New Orleans Arena.

The two teams were tied at halftime 28-28.

But it was all LSU in the second half as they out scored the razorbacks by 16 points to earn the win.
