2 Cold Fronts Incoming…Improvements by Late-Weekend

Tonight: Cloudy with scattered showers and becoming cooler late. Lo: 57.

Tomorrow: A cloudy sky with scattered showers and remaining cool. Hi: 63.
Thursday: A cold rain with overcast conditions. Breezy. Hi: 50.
A series of cold fronts will move through Acadiana during the next 2 days and provide us with showers and much cooler temps. Tonight will start off showery and cloudy with warm and humid conditions, but then a cold front will move through early on Wednesday and the temp will not get out of the low 60s tomorrow. Look for another cold front to move through early on Thursday and keep the temp from getting out of the low 50s on Thursday with rain most of the day. No severe weather is expected at this time from either front. On Friday we will finally see the sun again, but it won’t help much in the temp department as only low to mid 50s are expected for highs. The weekend starts off with a light freeze/frost on Saturday morning, but a rebound to just over 60 degrees is expected with dry conditions. However, a warm front moves in for Sunday and late showers are expected to end the weekend. A few showers will move through the region early next week, but at this point Mardi Gras Day on Tuesday will be mild and dry.
