Wednesday brings much needed sunnier weather to Acadiana after a rough several days of dealing with Hurricane Barry. High’s today will top out in the lower 90s but those “feels-like” temps will once again reach the 100° to 105° degree range. We could see a pop up shower or storm with daytime heating but don’t expect any widespread rain or storms in the area at least for today and tomorrow. Thursday will be much like Wednesday, enjoy it because Friday we will start to see rain chances go up heading into this weekend. Some models are showing big changes early next week. We will likely see an increase in shower activity but we could also see a rare late-July cold front push through by Tuesday, keeping our daily temperatures well below normal for this time of year.
