Alzheimer’s Association Welcomes New Development Manager

Lafayette, LA – The Alzheimer’s Association is pleased to welcome Tiffany Steward as the Development Manager for the Acadiana and Lake Charles region.

A graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Tiffany began her career in non-profit with Hospice of Acadiana in 2007. Tiffany has served as a member of the Lafayette Commission on the Needs of Women and Children, Social Service Agency Network, LAGCOE, and is a founding member of the Acadiana Diaper Depot.

In 2015, Steward founded The Good Steward, a privately owned business providing task-based services to small businesses, independent professionals, and non-profits. Through her work as a consultant, Tiffany was introduced to the Alzheimer’s Association.

As Development Manager, Tiffany will be responsible for volunteer and corporate engagement along with the implementation of the organization’s two largest peer-to-peer fundraising events; Walk to End Alzheimer’s and The Longest Day.

Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the fastest-growing walk program in the country, ranking as the third-largest peer-to-peer fundraising event in the United States, The Longest Day is the day with the most light – the summer solstice. On June 20, thousands of participants from across the world come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer’s through an activity of their choice. Together, they use their creativity and passion to raise funds and awareness for the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.

“Having the opportunity to work for an organization that is committed to finding a cure for Alzheimer’s and other related dementias on all fronts is truly an honor. The tools and resources provided by the Alzheimer’s Associaton have helped to empower and encourage countless families in our area, including my own. The Association has given a voice to those affected by Alzheimer’s through their advocacy work. It is for these reasons and more that I am proud to represent the Alzheimer’s Association in Acadiana and Lake Charles,” says Tiffany.

We are happy to have Tiffany become a part of our team! The dedication of Tiffany Steward will help the Alzheimer’s Association continue to move forward with its vision of a world without Alzheimer’s.
