Officers received word that three people were in the vehicle prior, a male, female and a three year old child who were all transported to Acadia General Hospital. Officers then went to Acadia General Hospital where they encountered the three victims. The three year old victim was in the process of receiving medical treatment for a head injury.

Tucker, in an excited utterance to officers, confirmed what the female had relayed.
Tucker was detained and transported to the Crowley Police Department. After being advised of his Miranda rights, he again re-iterated what the female victim had relayed. At the time, the extent of injuries and condition of the three year old was not known, but was an extremely serious situation. It was later discovered that the three year old was found to have a concussion, a laceration to his mouth and two “knots” on his head and was being observed.
Due to the negligent actions of Tucker, which could have resulted in a death to the female and the three year old, he was charged with two counts of Attempted Negligent Homicide and transported to the Acadia Parish Jail Facility.
