Breaux Bridge, LA (KADN) — On the verge of elimination, the Breaux Bridge Tigers responded to advance to the state semifinals. The Tigers lost their first game of a three-game series against Pearl River. However, they rebounded to win the final two games. Now the Tigers are ready for Lakeshore in the state semifinals Thursday afternoon at 2pm.
“We just have to keep the fight with us,” pitcher Christian Gonzalez said. “If we can keep the offense we had against pearl river we should be fine.”
Breaux Bridge is back in Sulphur for the first time since 2017. That season the Tigers lost to Tioga 6-5.
