Lake Charles – Earlier today Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives were notified in reference to a gun on the campus at Washington Marion High School.

A student reported to the CPSO School Resource Officer that a 16 year old boy had a gun in his backpack at school.  After a search of the 16 year old’s backpack, an unloaded gun was found, along with one live round wrapped in some paper.
