Tonight: Chilly with increasing clouds. Dry. Lo: 44.
Clouds will be on the increase tonight as a surface trough moves through Acadiana, no rain is expected. Look for an area of high pressure to move northeast through the Gulf of Mexico tomorrow as the sky clears and sunshine breaks out in the afternoon. It will be mild with a southeast breeze developing. A quick-moving cold front slides through the region late Thursday into Friday morning with showers and a few thunderstorms. Then, the sky clears before more clouds move in for Saturday with yet another clear day on Sunday and warmer temps in the 70s. Next week starts out cloudy with showers and thunderstorms moving into the Gulf Coast Monday along with plenty of clouds. We will make a run for 80 degrees Monday afternoon, despite clouds. Cooler air moves in behind the cold front for Tuesday.
