A Church Point man is dead after an early morning drive-by shooting.
Church Point Police say it happened on N. Wilson between Meche and Joseph St. around 5:40am.
Chief Albert Venable adds the victim, 32 year old Alex Babineaux, sustained multiple gun shot wounds and died on scene.
Police have yet to name a suspect.
