Lafayette, LA (KADN) — After losing a shootout in the state title game to U-High, St. Thomas More is putting the past behind them and focusing on 2019.  Caleb Holstein returns as the starting quarterback.  The Havard commit is ready to lead another prolific offense with state title expectations.

“I think this team brings a really good perspective about what it takes to go all the way,” Cougars head coach Jim Hightower said. ” They have seen how the season can fair from winning it all, to coming close, to coming really close and that can give them a hunger to get the job done.”

STM also returns five starters on defense.  The Cougars open the regular season against Holy Cross on September 6th.
