Tonight: Clear and very cold. Lo: 35.
High pressure will settle over the region tonight and provide us with a clear sky and very cold temperatures. There will be some patchy frost around Acadiana, but a hard freeze is not expected to be widespread. Look for plenty of sun again on Wednesday, but clouds move in for Thursday with some late showers developing into Friday morning. Then, the sun will come back out during the day on Friday with a warm day on tap as we reach the mid 70s, about 10 degrees above average for this time of the year. The weekend is shaping-up to be rather nice with only a few showers and mostly cloudy conditions. You can expect warmer air into Sunday with mid 70s for highs and the same for early next week.
