Tonight: 49° Partly Cloudy
Tomorrow: 42° Partly Cloudy
Monday: Low: 57° Mostly Cloudy High: 79° Mostly Cloudy with showers moving in late.
Warm air will begin to return to Acadiana over the next few days. Southerly flow which will return tomorrow will allow for temperatures in the low 70’s on Sunday before we get even warmer on Monday with highs in the upper 70’s and lower 80’s. This will likely result in highs within a few degrees of record highs once again. The warmth does not last long as a cold front begins to move into Acadiana starting Monday night. Timing on the precipitation has moved back some so expect most rain to fall Tuesday and into Wednesday morning, although some showers can’t be ruled out on Monday night. Starting Wednesday our weather will be much cooler with highs in the upper 50’s to lower 60’s while lows will be in the lower 40’s to upper 30’s for several days.
