According to Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz, “Detectives have arrested a Eunice man on multiple counts of narcotic charges.”
On April 4, 2019, the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Department Detectives executed a search warrant at 351 West Ardoin Street in Eunice. Once inside the Eunice home, detectives made contact with Norman Ceasar Jr. and (2) small children inside the residence. Detectives explained to Ceasar that a search warrant was obtained for his home, property, and any vehicles that were parked on his property. Ceasar was advised of his rights and stated that there were no illegal narcotics on his property. A search by the detectives recovered (1) .44 cal revolver, $2,920.00 in cash, (1) “Lipton Ice Tea” container with a false compartment that contained 4.5 oz of Methamphetamine and a black digital scale, and (1) “Lysol” disinfectant spray can with a false compartment that contained more Methamphetamine.
Norman Ceasar was placed under arrest and later admitted that all the drugs and the gun was for him. Ceasar was then transported to the parish jail for processing.
