April 27 @ 6:00 pm
Breaux Bridge—The acoustic guitar ensemble, Finger Food featuring Steve Davison, is coming to Teche Center for the Arts on Saturday, April 27, at 6 p.m. This national touring group’s musical mastery will astound the audience and 100% of proceeds from this special performance will benefit TCA. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online at techecenterforthearts.com. TCA is located at 210 E. Bridge Street in the heart of downtown Breaux Bridge, LA.
Steve Davison is a fingerstyle guitarist who composes on both the 6 and 12 string guitars. An aging hipster, his musical career started at age 12 playing the drums in a multitude of rock and roll bands. At the tender age of 19, he saw a performance on solo acoustic guitar in Denton, Texas by a performer named Thom Ward that changed his life. He put down the sticks, picked up the guitar, and started a lifelong journey of discovery. Steve currently tours with Finger Food, which includes Danny Dozier, Micky Rigby, and Peter Janson as part of the American Guitar Masters Touring Concert Series and with Ken Bonfield as Artistry of the Guitar. Finger Food’s music focuses on contemporary instrumental American Fingerstyle Guitar with folk, jazz, Celtic, classical, and blues influences. Sponsored in part by the Al Berard Music Fund.
