Breaux Bridge–Teche Center for the Arts is excited to announce the first ever ST. MARTIN PARISH MEGA TRIVIA GAME NIGHT! Senator Fred Mills has partnered with Teche Center for the Arts to host this fun community-spirited, parish-wide event of friendly team (table) competition. Banks vs. Banks! Schools vs. Schools! Realtors vs. Realtors! Civic Clubs vs. Chambers! Businesses vs. Friends! . . . all competing over the battle of prizes and title, “Who will win the brainiest of them all?!” We will have rounds of trivia with prizes for the top 3 winning teams, door prizes, food, drinks, silent/live auction, music, laughs and so much fun!
Our ongoing mission depends on your generosity and support. Our 100% homegrown unique appeal in south Louisiana is our authentic culture. It is worth celebrating and passing on to our children. Teche Center for the Arts’ mission is to create a community cultural center and stage to showcase MUSIC~HISTORY~ART~EDUCATION~CAJUN and CREOLE CULTURE.
We are well on our way, thanks to our community supporters and major sponsors City of Breaux Bridge, St. Martin Parish Government, St. Martin Parish Tourism, FM BANK, Hancock-Whitney Bank, and CLECO. Your sponsorship and support are welcome!
In addition to purchasing the old Murph Theater building in historic downtown Breaux Bridge,
this past year Teche Center for the Arts has been granted by the IRS 501(c)(3) NON-PROFIT STATUS, identifying TCA as a public charity which allows for tax benefits for our patrons.
More good news is that we have begun construction to install permanent restrooms and a handicap accessible ramp. With the donated professional services of CMAC Construction and Angelle Architects, combined with generous financial community support, we will see a $50,000 capital improvement to the building and celebrate with a ribbon cutting/grand re-opening in 2020. We have made much progress. We hope that you will continue to be a part of the TCA vision to lift St. Martin Parish and Louisiana!
You won’t want to miss this fun community gathering! You’ll leave feeling like a GENIUS!
