Tonight: Patchy fog with scattered showers. Warm. Lo: 65.
A warm front will continue to lift north of Acadiana tonight with a cold front set to arrive early on Wednesday. Look for patchy fog to continue overnight with scattered showers and warm conditions. A thunderstorm can’t be ruled out tomorrow as we will be in the “warm sector” between the warm front and cold front. Nothing severe is expected at this time. On Wednesday a strong cold front pushes through the Gulf Coast bringing much cooler weather and more showers. The wind will shift out of the northeast through Thursday and provide us with a very raw and cold day with rain continuing. The highs will struggle to reach the low 50s on Thursday with cloud cover and showers. On Friday we will finally see the sun again although not much of a warm-up is expected with only mid 50s for highs. However, as we get into the weekend the temps go up into the 60s for highs, but clouds and showers will return to the picture once again.
