Free Chick-Fil-a for First 100 Participants

NEW IBERIA, La. (Dec. 5, 2019) – Chick-fil-A will open its first New Iberia restaurant at 1116 E Admiral Doyle Dr. on Dec. 5, bringing its handcrafted food and award-winning customer service, commitment to community engagement and hands-on mentoring for nearly 100 newly hired Team Members. Over 55 Chick-fil-A fans lined up in the parking lot of Lagniappe Village Chick-fil-A in New Iberia for the First 100 Grand Opening event. The location will open Thurs., Dec. 5 at 6:00 a.m. They will continue to accept campers until they reach 100 and then will add an additional 10 alternates throughout the evening. To celebrate, Operator Austin Milke is awarding a year supply of meals to the first 100 in line when they open tomorrow morning but campers were allowed to start lining up around 5:30 p.m. tonight. Campers arrived to secure their spot for their year supply of chicken. They will be setting up tents here shortly and hunkering down for the next 12-hours passing the time while being hosted by Chick-fil-A. They will be fed dinner with an evening snack. Games, entertainment, prizes and a block party with a lip sync battle in the evening that will also help pass the time.


First 100 Campout event:
The overnight, 12-hour grand opening First 100 Campout party includes engaging activities for participants who also will enjoy eating a Chick-fil-A meal during the countdown to the opening, with up to 100 adults winning a digital offer card for a year of free Chick-fil-A meals (52 meals with each consisting of a Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, medium Waffle Potato Fries and a medium beverage).
· Participants can start gathering at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 4 for registration that begins in the restaurant parking lot at
6 p.m.

Chick-fil-A in Lafayette
Lafayette’s first Chick-fil-A opened 40 years ago in March 1979 at The Mall of Acadiana. The Lagniappe Village
Chick-fil-A is one of 120 new restaurants slated to open nationwide, creating more than 10,000 jobs.
