A cold front will approach from Texas, but will stall right when it reaches Acadiana. Clouds will keep the temperature in check with only upper 70s for highs this weekend. Before the front gets here there will be plenty of clouds and only a few showers tomorrow. All things considered not a bad weekend with temps near where they should be for this time of the year. The big changes come next week with a run for our first 90 degree temp of the year by midweek. We will get close to record highs and it will feel like late May instead of early April. Humidity levels are going to be on the rise next week into levels we have not seen so far this year either. However, the humidity will still be below oppressive amounts for what we are used to in south Louisiana. Regardless, there will still be a near Summer-like feel in the air next week.
