Iota, LA (KADN) The Iota community is fired up as the Bulldogs push for a state title with Wossman coming in from Monroe to begin the playoffs. Iota finished the regular season (8-2). The running game has been part of the Bulldogs success with Luke Doucet, but head coach Josh Andrus stressed they’ll need to pass as well to succeed in the postseason. Wossman is a difficult first postseason challenge.
“Wossman I think they are big, fast, and athletic on both sides of the ball,” Andrus said.
Iota lost in the state semifinals last season to Sterlington 21-12. The Bulldogs won their first round playoff game last season 49-0 against Frederick Douglass High School.
