Enjoy the rest of your Thursday because our old buddy “humidity” returns Friday afternoon after several days of cooler and drier days. Today we’ll top out in the upper 80s with only slight humidity. Tonight we’ll drop down to the mid-60s once again and it is likely to be the last cool and dry evening for awhile. We’ll wake up dry once again tomorrow morning but as we get into the afternoon on Friday, dew points will go up and it will start feeling “soupy” again. Clouds will start to increase overnight Friday into Saturday and we’ll see a chance of isolated showers and maybe a thuderstorm, mainly in the afternoon hours. Father’s day will be much of the same with mostly cloudy skies, high humidity and a chance of isolated afternoon showers and storms. Look for rain chances to increase early next week.
