IPSO: 1st degree murder suspect arrested

Update* Friday, Detectives with the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Collin Coco for the death of Noah Olivier on Wednesday night.

Detectives have learned that the victim and two other males went to Coco’s home Wednesday night and a verbal argument started between the victim and Coco. During the argument Coco pulled a gun and fired at the victim and the two other males. Noah Olivier was shot in the chest and died at the scene. A second victim was hit in the shoulder and fled the scene and the third male was not injured. Detectives booked Collin Coco into the Iberia Parish Jail on 1 count Second Degree Murder and 2 counts Attempted Second Degree Murder. No bond has been set at this time.
