LAFAYETTE— For the first time to the Lafayette stage, Pacific Northwest Ballet’s Angelica Generosa will perform the lead role of Cinderella.
Everyoneknows the story of Cinderella as portrayed in books and movies, but no medium quite captures the magic of this inspiring rags-to-riches tale as classical ballet. Experience the enchantment of Lafayette Ballet Theatre’s CINDERELLA, at 7 pm March 28 and 2 pm
March 29, in the Heymann Performing Arts Center. LBT promises an awe-inspiring evening appropriate for all ages. Principal guest artists will join the local cast in presenting the three-act, full-length classical production, set to Sergei Prokofiev’s celebrated
Generosa is from South River, NJ. She studied on scholarship at the School of American Ballet and Princeton Ballet and attended summer courses at the School of American Ballet, Chautauqua Summer Program and New Jersey Ballet. She also studied with Gina Forcella in Sayreville,
NJ. In 2011, Generosa joined Pacific Northwest Ballet as an apprentice. She was promoted to corps de ballet in 2012 and soloist in 2016.
Dancing the role of Prince will be Joshua Grant, Soloist with Pacific Northwest Ballet (Seattle, Wash.). Cervilio Miguel Amador, Principal dancer of the Cincinnati Ballet and first Soloist, Edward Gonzales Kay will also join Lafayette Ballet Theatre.
