After five seasons, this is the last chance for Bulldogs coach Tiffanie Lewis to win a state championship. She is leaving the basketball team she built. She is also the CEO of the school. It’s also the last yr for the team’s seven seniors.
“We know that we all leaving since I am a senior since this is her last year coaching,” senior Damion Williams said. “It is not about us, it is about her.”

“Well what I take pride is that my students see me work hard everyday,” Coach Lewis said. “I hope it motivates them to see that they can do whatever they set their minds to”.

Coach Lewis also coaches volleyball. It is even harder to walk away for her because the players look up to her.
She told me I could be somebody as long as I be myself i can do what I want,” senior Shaquay Hunt said.

“I don’t even look at her as a coach I look at her as a second mom, Williams said. “She does a lot or me on and off the court.”
Six of the seven seniors on the basketball team were also on the state title track team that practices and they want the success from this track season to carry over to this basketball season

“They are two-time track state champions and they know how to win,” Lewis said. “Basketball is just another notch on their belt.”
