Local Dog Trainer Enhances Pet’s Potential Through Progressive and Scientific Training Methods

Lafayette, LA – Ronny LeJeune, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer based in Lafayette, Louisiana, recently launched Optimal Canine. Optimal Canine is a new dog training, fitness, and nutrition resource that provides detailed information to pet owners on how to teach their dog better behaviors, improve their dog’s physical fitness, and enhance their dog’s diet.

“I am passionate about teaching dog owners the importance of their dog’s overall well-being – which includes behavior, fitness, and nutrition,” said LeJeune. “Through my dedication and continued education, I have gained a strong understanding of why dogs do what they do and how to effectively work with them. It is an exciting opportunity to share this information with dog owners so they can provide a healthier lifestyle to their companions!”

LeJeune is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, Certified in Canine Nutrition (Cert.CN) through the Companion Animal Sciences Institute (CASI), Certified Canine Fitness Coach (CCFC) through the Do More With Your Dog (DMWYD) program, and a Fear Free Certified Pet Professional. Furthermore, she is currently enrolled in the University of Tennessee to become a Certified Canine Fitness Trainer (CCFT) and is projected to finish the program this year. LeJeune is also the owner of Perfectly Rawsome, an informational online resource about raw diets for dogs and cats.

Dog owners in Lafayette and neighboring towns can schedule private in-home training sessions with LeJeune. This year, she plans to expand her services through online classes on Optimal Canine’s website. These classes will cover dog training, fitness, and nutrition in various formats ranging from six week courses to one hour live discussions.
