LSU Prepares for SEC Title Game vs. Georgia

Baton Rouge, LA (KADN)- The LSU Tigers are currently ranked second in the college football poll rankings. However, Head Coach Ed Orgeron says he’s not worried about that right now. Nothing is guaranteed in the postseason, and they need a win against Georgia in the SEC Title game on Saturday afternoon at 3pm.

“We control our own destiny,” Orgeron said. “We have to win every game to get to where we want to go. So far we’ve done that. The next step is beating Georgia, which is a mighty, mighty big task, as we know.”

LSU beat Georgia last season, but the Tigers have not played the Bulldogs this season.

“Now, whatever happens in this game, hopefully, it’s a win,” Orgeron said. “After the win, we’re going to look at where they tell us to go. Whatever it may be, we’re going to prepare for the next game. We will go after it. If there’s the next game, we’re going to prepare for the next one, we’ll go after it. That’s been our mindset the whole season.”
