Heat and humidity will continue to have a tight grip on our forecast going into the start of the work and school-week. All of Acadiana will be under a heat advisory once again as high temperatures reach the mid-90s and “feels-like” temps jump back up into the 105° to 110° range during the afternoon and early evening hours. We’re not expecting any significant shower or storm activity. Any storms will be isolated and quick moving. We continue with the heat on Tuesday which will be much like Monday with lots of heat and humidity. Things could start to change Wednesday as a frontal boundary makes its way from the north towards the Louisiana coastline. The front will bring an increase in shower and thunderstorm activity and should also give us a bit of a break from this oppressive heat and return our temperatures to more normal for this time of year. Have a great week Acadiana!
