Two Breaux Bridge men are in the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center this afternoon on multiple drug charges after a St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office investigation into reports of suspected illegal drug activity.
This morning, SMPSO narcotics agents executed warrant at a residence in the 1100 block of Anse Broussard Highway in Breaux Bridge. Agents obtained the search warrant following an investigation into suspected illegal drug activity at the residence.
According to a SMPSO Public Information Officer Ginny Higgins, agents recovered methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia at the residence.
Timothy Patin, 35, is charged with possession of methamphetamine. possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and illegal carrying of weapons. Roy Rodgers, 32, is charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Following their arrests, Higgins said they were both booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center. No bond had been set as of Friday afternoon.
