Maurice, LA (KADN) — The North Vermilion Patriots finished last season (5-5) after losing their last game of 2018 by double digits. It didn’t sit well. Head Coach Brett Blakey believed his team focused too much on results and not on improvement. As a result, he’s has changed the focus of his team in 2019.
“I think it just comes down to hard work, ” Blakey said. “Sometimes you have to roll up your sleeves and get dirty. I know it sounds redundant, but it really just comes down to focusing on getting one percent better.”
North Vermilion opens up the season September 6th against rival Abbeville.
