One Arrested in Connection With Moss Street Shooting

Lafayette- On November 30, 2019 at approximately 6:23 pm, Lafayette Police responded to the 2300 block of Moss St. in reference to shots fired. Officers located a 36-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshots. He was transported to a local hospital where he is now stable.

On December 2, 2019 the suspect, 18-year-old Malik Soloman (B/M) of Lafayette, turned himself in to authorities at the Lafayette Police Department. He was arrested on an active warrant for Attempted Second Degree Murder. He was transported to the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center for booking. The investigation remains on-going.
